Best Overall
Cunfon RZ1000
Key details
- Motor
- 3200W peak dual motor
- Tires
- 10.5 inches
- Top Speed
- 31 mph
- Weight Capacity
- 440 lb
A 440-pound weight rating is the highest in this group, and it is the first thing we checked because a heavy rider needs margin, not a number that matches their weight exactly. That extra ceiling is why we treat the RZ1000 as the default for riders near or above 300 pounds. The rest of the package supports the rating: a dual-motor setup rated to 3200W peak, 10.5-inch self-sealing tires, dual suspension, and dual disc brakes with electronic assist.
The dual motor is the part we appreciate most on a loaded ride. It gives the scooter enough pull to get moving without the motor feeling strained, and it keeps something in reserve for grades. The 10.5-inch tires and suspension also take the edge off cracked pavement better than the 10-inch commuter scooters here. We did not find it twitchy at speed, which is not something we can say for every fast scooter in this group.
The fixed handlebar sits at about 51 inches. That felt natural for us, but it is not adjustable, so very tall riders should compare that number with a scooter they already like. The no-weld joint design and the wide 10.5-inch tires are the kind of heavy-duty hardware that makes the capacity rating believable.
This is the scooter we point to first for a rider who wants one machine for commuting, errands, and weekend paths. It is not the cheapest here, but if capacity and stability are the priorities, the RZ1000 is the one that makes the fewest compromises.
Pros
- 440-pound capacity leads this group
- Dual 3200W peak motor for loaded climbs
- 10.5-inch tires and dual suspension
- Dual disc brakes with electronic assist
Cons
- About 64 pounds is hard to carry upstairs
- Eight-hour charge is slow for daily use
For riders near or above 300 pounds, we think the RZ1000's 440-pound rating and dual-motor pull make it the most convincing all-around scooter here.
